Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Renova Software Development LLC (“Renova,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information in connection with the website renovaappdevelopment.com (the “Site”). It applies to the Site only. Work we do for clients under a services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this policy.

The short version

This is a static informational website. It has no user accounts, no contact forms, no advertising, and no analytics or marketing trackers. We do not set cookies. The personal information we receive through the Site is limited to what our hosting provider processes to serve pages, and whatever you choose to send us by email.

Information we collect

Server logs

The Site is served by a hosting provider. Like virtually all web hosts, the provider automatically processes technical data when you request a page: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the pages requested, your browser type, and the referring page. This data is used to deliver the Site, maintain its security, and diagnose technical problems. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with other data.

Email correspondence

If you email us at hello@renovaappdevelopment.com, we receive your email address, anything you include in your message, and standard email metadata. We use this information to respond to you and, if the conversation leads to a working relationship, to carry on that relationship. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share or sell your contact details.

What we do not collect

• We do not set cookies or use similar tracking technologies.
• We do not run analytics, advertising, or social media trackers.
• We do not embed third-party content that tracks you.
• We do not buy, sell, or trade personal information.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation are:

• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for processing server logs to operate and secure the Site, and for responding to messages you send us.
• Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) where our correspondence relates to entering into or performing an agreement with you.

Retention

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period under its standard log retention practices and are then deleted or anonymized. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to an ongoing conversation or business relationship, or as long as we are required to keep it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, after which it is deleted.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site and our business. They process personal data only on our behalf and under their own contractual and legal obligations:

• Website hosting: the Site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, operated by Google LLC (United States), which processes server logs as described above.
• Email: our email is handled by our email hosting provider, which processes messages you send to us in order to deliver and store them.

Because these providers are based in the United States, information you send us may be processed in the United States. Where required, transfers from the EEA or UK rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below; we will respond within one month.

Under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will verify your request using the email address you contact us from and any correspondence history we have with you.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Access to our email and hosting accounts is limited to the people who operate the business and is protected by multi-factor authentication.

Children

The Site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the Site handles personal data, for example by adding a contact form or analytics, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
